A Fast Moving River
Today the Sun enters Gemini, and tomorrow for the first time in this cycle of Uranus in that sign (Uranus has an 84 year orbit) they come together. Together with Mercury being in his own home sign of Gemini, this will have the effect of speeding up day to day life even more from this point on, with more information, news and data flooding into us on a daily basis. Please keep stepping back to drop into the breath and the body, bare feel on the earth as often as you can, otherwise we may feel we are ‘spinning out’ in the information overload.
This conjunction can also bring clarity, either to a personal situation (see where 1° Gemini falls in your chart) or it is around a global situation or narrative. We are entering a period where the ‘scales may fall from our eyes’ in terms of new perspectives on old situations as we awaken to higher levels of perception.
The Sun is in a triple conjunction with Uranus and Sedna effectively over the next 3 days but this will have very long term effects for us all. Uranus and Sedna become exactly conjunct at 1° Gemini on May 24th and this is a long-term transit over the next year, becoming exact again in December and lasting until next April. Alan Clay of the Dwarf Planet University describes this as an ‘explosion of collective consciousness’.
We are likely to have much clearer intuition from this point on, and whether truths will come to light for us to see clearly or we are just seeing through any deception of recent years, they both come to the same conclusion that we will have shocks and surprises around the nature of our reality and who we are as humanity.
Galactic disclosure will come to the fore in a bigger way, even more so in June, especially around Uranus squaring the Nodal Axis on June 12th. Also as Sedna is connected to AI and data centres and Uranus is connected to technology, on the one hand these are going through exponential growth right now, but at the same time the environmental damage of so much precious water and electrical power being used to operate them that we will see the beginning of a pushback at this time.
In my Update to the Big Picture video I described the astrology around on the one hand tremendous growth in technology and AI, and on the other those of us who yearn for simplicity, the organic and the natural, and a simpler way to live. These themes will be very strong over the next year.
We have already entered a fast moving river towards powerful astrology of June, July and August. Make wise and conscious choices and decisions may have to be made ‘in the moment’.
Revolutionary and rebellious energy is very strong this year and starts to build to a higher level from now on. This may also be linked to a strong square between Mars and Pluto at 5° Taurus and Aquarius, where on the global stage (and in your own life) some brute force or ‘might makes right’ occurs which acts as a turning point for many of us, as this happens on May 26th. If strong aggression or assertion is happening towards you in your personal life, take a breath before responding as this is ‘primal’ raw energy in action.
All of this is part of our accelerated spiritual evolution at this time, and being aware of that bigger picture will help us immensely at this time. Our psychic sensitivity is being awakened so we will be less reliant on external news sources and more tuned into our own heart and innate intuition. It is a turbulent but extremely exciting time to be alive now, these times are truly historic.
