I’ve just started to watch this video about the collapse of a mountainside in Sicily, with houses and cars just falling into an abyss. The cause of this is the repeated storm surges of Cyclone Harry in recent days. Truly tragic for all involved. The astrological energies (along with the solar activity) are very strong right now. Today we have Mercury conjunct Pluto, tomorrow the Sun conjunct Pluto, and on the 27th Mars conjunct Pluto, all of these conjunctions at 3° Aquarius. You may be particularly feeling this if you have any planets or angles between 2-4° of the Fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius. You may be aware that there are violent street protests going on in Iran against the regime. I have spoken many times, as have others, about we have moved into a much more revolutionary time. This is partly because as of November 2024 Pluto moved into Aquarius and if we study historical cycles of this transit there has always been a shift of power to the people – not easily, but after struggle and revolution. Today President Maduro of Venezuela has been removed from power. I am not in any way suggesting that this is good or bad, right or wrong, I have no opinion on the politics of this, I am simply observing the astrology. The people there seem to be celebrating. With Uranus conjunction the Fixed Star Algol, we were expecting leaders to fall from power (and more to come). In addition, if we look at the chart for Venezuela set for September 22nd 1830 12.00 Caracas, transiting Neptune is exactly opposing the Sun (leader of the country) at 29° Virgo, suggesting that his power is dissolving right now – and remember that Neptune is only at 29° Pisces until January 26th. November promises to be an eventful month, with this week particularly dynamic as we build towards the closest Full SuperMoon of the year at 13°22′ Taurus on November 5th. There has been a very big announcement from Buckingham Palace tonight, that Prince Andrew has now been stripped of all his honours and titles – including that of Prince which came with his birth to Queen Elisabeth. King Charles is going through a procedure to even remove the title of Prince, so from henceforth Andrew will be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. He will also lose his residence in the Royal Court at Windsor, notice has already been served. This kind of bombshell has not happened in the Royal family for over 100 years. We’re in a very powerful period of energy over the next two weeks, and indeed the rest of the year as I am sure many of you are feeling. 3I Atlas is going to be at its perihelion (closest point to the Sun in this flyby) on October 29th. We have no idea what effect this will have, but many believe that it will charge up our Sun with very beneficial energy for us. As well as everything else celestial happening this week (!)we have the Orionids meteors peaking around the time of this New Moon in Libra on Tuesday 21st. These are believed to be the remnants of Halley’s Comet, and meteors along with comets are thought to bring in new information and even seedings of new consciousness to humanity.
